When making a booking for your carpets to be cleaned ask the company administrator what equipment will be used, make sure the cleaning technician will be using a truck mount system, truck mounts are a petrol operated cleaning extraction unit, some companies will use a portable cleaning unit which has inferior vacuum motors which will result in longer dry times.
Don’t be fooled by extremely cheap prices. Some companies are falling into the American trick of “bait and switch” which lures its customers by advertising cheap prices and then up sells once the job is completed.
Never scrub an area with soiling. Always use a blotting motion (pushing down on a clean white cloth) working from the outside of the soiled area to the center. Always try to remove any excess soiling before using these procedures.
